About Our School
What a gift God gave you when he gave you a child! What a gift God gave you and me when he gave us his Son to be a child born to you, God with skin on to be our stand in, to re-live our life for us and die our death to give us life he intended since before creation.
The children we have are his—he made and purchased them at the steep price of God becoming a child to bleed all over the ground on Golgotha. They are his that he gives us for a time to teach them about him. The most important thing we can do for our children is to teach them about their heavenly Father: who he is, what he says, and what he did for them and for you.
St. John exists for that purpose, to assist parents in teaching them these most important truths. And to teach them the important subjects of math, history, language, art, etc. through the lens of the God who invented them all and gives them to us to bless our life with function and prosperity.
St. John offers 3K-8 and is part of the Lakeside Lutheran High School federation. Tools God has given in the classroom include Chromebooks and Smartboards. We use MAP testing. Other academic opportunities include online math competitions within our federation and forensics for grades 5-8. Band and piano lessons are offered during non-academic hours.
ASICS: “A sound mind in a sound body.” So we offer volleyball, boys/girls basketball, cross country, track and softball (grades 5-8), and hot lunch each day.
We want to build a solid foundation for your child – for learning, for life, forever. We want to partner with you the parents in building that foundation. And we are grateful for sharing your children with us. If you would like to visit, we would love to host. To set up an appointment, contact our school office at 920-478-2707.
