Who We Are and What We Believe

St. John Lutheran Church and School of Waterloo is a Christian congregation, which follows the teachings of Jesus Christ as outlined by the Holy Bible. As a Lutheran congregation, we further define our faith by the historical interpretation of Christ’s teachings presented by the Book of Concord of 1580, www.bookofconcord.org the traditional understanding of the Lutheran Church.
St. John is also a member of the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod [WELS], a world-wide organization of Lutheran churches united to share the good news of Jesus’ salvation.
