Our Dorcas Society meets the last Wednesday of each month(Tuesdays during Lent). Meetings begin with an optional luncheon at 12:45pm at an area restaurant to which any woman is invited.
But our Dorcas Society is really about service. Some of the many service projects for our congregation are: serving for funerals, providing glassware and silverware for our kithcen, organizing the altar guild and providing flowers when none are donated, Christmas gifts to called workers and staff and to the food pantry and a number of church ministries., supply baptismal towel remembrance girts for baptisms, pay for pest control and paint for school. They also bought shrubs for the new parking lot.
